Farrah was an extremely popular spokesmodel almost as soon as she signed with Screen Gems.  Fawcett appeared in commericals for Ultra Brite, Mercury Cougar XR-7, Serta Sleeper, Lady Schick Speed Styler Hair Dryer, Mercury Couger, Continental Airlines, then as her fame rose her own Hair Products for Fabergé (Farrah Fawcett Shampoo), more Mercury Cougar Ads, Noxema and PSA's for the American Cancer Society (which she worked with for many years).
